Beament Leslie Thomas is a well established recruitment consultancy with several teams working with commercial and voluntary sector organisations.

Richard worked with a small number of clients in the voluntary sector, such as RNID, Diabetes UK and The Prince’s Trust. His main area of expertise at this time was recruiting for clients in the management consultancy sector, such as Bain, McKinsey, KPMG, PwC, Accenture, and several eBusiness consultancies which were booming at the time but which are no longer active.

Arthur Andersen Business Consulting was the management consultancy arm of Arthur Andersen, an international firm of chartered accountants. AABC existed alongside Andersen Consulting (Accenture) for several years, and employed approximately 1,000 people in the UK.

Richard reported to the Chief Executive of AABC UK, and managed a team of five, responsible for all matters relating to the recruitment of experienced staff from consultant to partner level.

Richard also had a fee generation role, working with a wide range of clients assisting with the recruitment of Finance Directors and other senior staff.

Prior to 1989

After university, Richard worked for two recruitment consultancies specialising in financial and IT recruitment.
